Have You Hoisted Today?

As an organizer who helps people move, I come across some unusual situations.

A few years ago, a client was moving an antique, oak, partner's desk - a very LARGE oak partner's desk from a 2500 sq ft condo into a 1800 sq. ft. single family home.

Moving this desk out of the condo posed no problem. But, the single family home? A victorian in San Francisco, with angled stair cases, low bulk heads, and a large, high-fenced back yard? Here were some challenges.

My initial thought was that getting the desk in the front door would be the first challenge. Never mind, getting this big piece of furniture down the stairs and around a bend. I knew at this time that using the right mover would be critical to a successful move.
